BLUE MOONSTONE GEM STONE


Sensuous and Intriguing, its translucence offers an evershifting play of light and shadow. It seems to glow with the light of the moon. It was believed by the ancients, to have formed by moonlight. Another legend promised a vision of the future to one who held a Moonstone in his mouth during a full moon. It is also believed to arouse tender passion making it popular for lovers. Moonstones major sources are Sri Lank, India, Australia, Brazil, Madagascar, Tanzania, the US and Myanmar.
